We stayed close to the canal and it was an easy walk to town center and restaurants. the hotel had bicycles for rent, and the breakfast was good with a boiling station for eggs. the room was adequate for a one night stay.
The reception staff was not welcoming and gave robotic instructions.

The breakfast had a surprisingly wide choice of pastries, breads, and fruits. The location made it convenient to access local bars and restaurants as well as local attractions.
The hotel itself was quite dated and could do with a little facelift. The room was tired looking, and the hotel overall felt like it was stuck in a time warp.
